SRX8545175: WGS of members of family Brucellaceae
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiSeq) run: 504,322 spots, 141.6M bases, 88.3Mb downloads

Design: Libraries were prepared from genomic DNA using the Illumina Nextera XT DNA Library Preparation Kit. Prepared libraries were sequenced using an Illumina MiSeq (MiSeq Reagent Kits v2) to produce paired-end reads of 2x150bp.

Study: Application of whole genome sequencing and pan-family multi-locus sequence analysis to characterise relationships within the family Brucellaceae
show Abstracthide Abstract
The bacterial family Brucellaceae is currently composed of seven genera, including species of the genus Brucella, a number of which are significant veterinary and zoonotic pathogens. We have applied whole genome sequencing (WGS) and pan-family multi-locus sequence analysis (MLSA) approaches to a comprehensive panel of Brucellaceae type strains, in order to characterise relationships within the family.
